In 2021 I participated SculptJanuary to force myself to practice sculpting thoroughly.
I was lucky that nothing got in my way that month, so I was able to sculpt all 31 topics. Most in January, the last in early February...
"Tears of Joy" was the topic of SculptJanuary 2021 Day 31.
"AND THE WINNER IS...JOE!!!!!!"
I started a new file in Blender and loaded the battered boxer from Day 29...
I sculpted a belly under his chest and used his (loose) right forearm (with the boxing glove) now as his left forearm
(to adjust later)... I also sculpted a new (fixed) right arm and rudimentarily started on his boxer shorts...
...I also roughly modeled the rest of the scene as a base to build upon...That looked a bit weird :-)
...I continued sculpting...first I focused my attention on the ref...his clothes...his head...
...the details of his face...
...his teeth...
...his palm and thumb...
...meanwhile I also put the spotlights above the boxing ring... By the way, those strange things
there on the left are Joe's eyeballs. He himself is hidden for easier work :-)
...I now changed his boxing glove from right-handed to left-handed...
...and I put some color on the ref...
I turned my attention to Joe...first his boxer shorts...shape and color...
(through trial and error...that flashy green just looked silly, I agree.)
After all, I didn't keep that red either.
Now I have also given him a right boxing glove. And lastly I worked on his boots, at least the visible top of them...
This was the final of Day 31 - Hurrah!!!

Oof!!! SculptJanuary was finally over! I felt really liberated. It was hard sometimes, you know!
But of course not comparable to what a boxer has to endure in the ring... :-)
